*1: Shinya Hashimoto was awarded the NWA World championship when referee Fred Richards declared that Steve Corino was unable to continue. The NWA Board of Directors declared the NWA World championship vacant.
*2: Steve Corino was the regaining IWA heavyweight champion when the PWF was founded. All IWA champions became the first PWF champions.
*3: This was a match to determine a new NWA North American champion.
*4: This was the finals of an 8 man tournament to determine the new NWA Florida heavyweight champion. Corino defeated David Young and Dave Johnson to advance to the finals.
*5: Corino offered Doring a rematch at his lesiure and Doring picked his time immediately and pinned Corino after 5 Bare-Backs in a row.
*6: The National Wrestling Alliance Board of Directors voted to have the current NWA World champion (Corino) and the most current former NWA World champion (Rapada) to be the first champions.

Sparxx had teamed with Tom Brandi vs. Steve Corino and referee Mike Kehner in a special match where if Sparxx's team lost he would lose Nova's AWC championship and if Corino's team lost he would lose his hair. Corino pinned Sparxx to win the championship. The AWC championship was renamed the IWF American championship when the AWC and IWF merged in late 1998.
